White Rice in the Instant Pot

The simplest and fastest way to delicious, fluffy rice!

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups white rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tsp canola oil
  • 2 pinches kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse your rice under running cold water in a strainer until the water runs clear
  2. Place rice and water in the instant pot
  3. Add 1 tsp oil and 1 pinch of kosher salt for each cup of uncooked rice
  4. Secure the lid and switch valve to ‘Sealing’
  5. Press the “RICE” button 
  6. Once time reaches 00:00, allow to naturally release for 10 minutes
  7. Move valve to ‘Venting” and release remaining pressure
  8. Remove lid and fluff rice with a fork – allow to stand, uncovered, for 5 minutes or so
  9. Serve immediately
