Easy Garlic Herb Butter

This easy 5-minute garlic herb butter recipe can be used for so many things! From garlic bread to seafood to steaks, you name it!


  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 46 cloves of garlic, crushed or minced very fine
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped thyme
  • 1 tbsp chopped oregano
  • 1 tsp finely chopped rosemary
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

*Most any combination of herbs will work. Try not to exceed 5 tablespoons of fresh herbs total.


  1. Place salt, pepper, and softened butter in a bowl
  2. Crush or very finely mince the garlic, and add to the bowl
  3. Chop herbs to your desired size. (I recommend mincing heartier herbs such as rosemary in very small pieces)
  4. Add herbs to the bowl and use a fork to mash & combine completely
  5. Use immediately, or allow to sit for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally, to let the flavors blend. (If storing, mold into a log shape, place on a piece of plastic wrap and roll up tightly)
